In 2007, a very sporty and ambitious Judith Deister could not live without the brilliant and healthy bread from Germany and decided open her own small bakery at the slops of Table Mountain.
Shortly after the opening, Brigitte Pack joined the team and with the help from some other lovely German ladies, turned the little bakery shop into true German Hot spot.
In 2010, it was time for Judith to start a family and so Brigitte took over full-time. Since then, Dinkel has come a long way and can call it now a full-grown Bakery & Coffee shop.
Brigitte's daughter Melanie Pack joint the Dinkel family in 2012 and since then the mother & daughter team have created great baked and cooked wonders on daily basis.
Dinkel, is now also well-known outside the Capitonian Community for its delicious baked goods as well its traditional German breakfasts and lunches.
